Chili Hungarian Black – ripe and mature. Medium hot, very easy to grow and yields loads.

Food

Some time ago we bought two of these mini Le Creuset pots with lids just because they were so cute and I love the colour. Not untill the other day when Witchy and I had been out picking chanterelle mushrooms could we think of something to make in them. Mushroom risotto, with salmon coated with tea leaves and pan fried and seasonal vegetables. It was very tasty.

Happiness Is

A nice meal with a good wine when celebrating Midsummer in Sweden. The wine is an Australian one,  Yellow Tail which is our favourite, this one is merlot-cabernet.

Fluffy

This is our Paeony hedge that has just started flowering, it usually does that just around Midsummer. I don’t know exactly which paeony it is since it has been there long before I moved in.

For us, seeing the little Hedgehog paddling along in front of our front- porch one morning as we were having our morning coffee in the sunshine (one day we had sunshine lately :-), definitely has the X-factor.
